Awareness Through Movement
The Feldenkrais Method
What is Awareness Through MovEment (ATM)?
ATM are guided movement lessons that help people develop more awareness about how they move themselves and how they can have more ease and coordination in everyday life.
What is Feldenkrais?
Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais developed the ATM method to help people move better based on their own standards of feeling. He famously wrote about teaching movement so that “the impossible could be possible, the possible easy, and the easy elegant”.
Who can Benefit?
Anyone can benefit from movement lessons and classes, regardless of physical capacities, age, or body type. Classes support students to integrate novel movements with their breath and feelings so they can improve their self-use.
